Occasionaly we go to the cinema followed by lunch at the local pub, and visit the local bingo hall to play a few cards. Both outings are enjoyed greatly by our current residents. We use the local red bus service which has wheelchair access and transports our residents free of charge.
We like to help our residents to keep their minds active, often engaging them in time of reminiscence. Our memories are very powerful, and it’s a great help to most people to look back on their past, and remember the good times.
We even have a mobile tuck shop for those times when a little something is just what is needed. Free to residents and subsidised to our visitors, this has proved very popular.
